Lifers Group was a group composed of convicts serving sentences at Rahway Prison in New Jersey put together by Maxwell Melvins (inmate 660604). It was a project that gathered together the incarcerated "lifers" to discourage those who still had their freedom from living the gangsta rap lifestyle.
