AL GREENE - BACK UP TRAIN

I was not aware of this album until it came across the counter at The Music Exchange. I knew of Back Up Train because I had the 45, and I'm pretty sure somebody sampled it, but I can't remember who (wanna say De La Soul). Anyway, on this actual stereo press, you hear the artistry of the sound engineer placing the band in different spots through out the room on each song. This is Al Greene's (still had the E on the end) album in 1967, and he ran the genre spectrum on this MF. Stop And Check Myself is my favorite song on the LP.
